Responsibilities

  • Lead the enterprise data strategy, execution and maintenance of our data platforms, reporting & analytics capabilities, data science & automation capabilities, as well as drive the broader data governance mandates.
  • Oversee enterprise's data steward program, ensuring both the quality and accuracy of company data assets.
  • Drive key data based innovative solutions such as our artificial intelligence (AI) and generative AI (GenAI) strategies
  • Foster experimentation and innovation, allowing for improved modeling options and levers to more effectively capitalize on the value of the organization's data
  • Enact programs that reduce data storage costs and data duplication while also accelerating the usability of data across the organization.
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external partners

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience as a Vice President of Data, Chief Data Officer, or similar-level role(s).
  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field required.
  • MBA or other graduate degree strongly desired.
  • Strong understanding of business value drivers, corresponding business impact, and the relationship between data choices and business considerations.
  • Skilled in the utilization of database/cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, Azure, Redshift, Hana, LLMs, GPT, Snowflake, DataBricks and more.
  • Understanding of broader technologies such as ERP, infrastructure, cybersecurity, PMO principles, etc.
  • Demonstrated expertise in building teams that utilize automation, RPA and low-code/no-code development environments as well as AI and Gen AI.
  • Understanding of a wide range of descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics approaches and ability to educate business owners on modeling techniques.
