We are the industry-leading, award-winning Marketing & Creative team at NBCUniversal, responsible for delivering groundbreaking campaigns and experiences for the world’s most influential marketers and advertisers. We develop award-winning creative campaigns across all platforms and in all formats leveraging the power of our networks and the passion of our audiences to deliver innovative content for our clients.

We're seeking a visionary and inspiring Vice President, Creative to lead our talented team of creative directors and designers. In this pivotal role, you'll be the driving force behind the development and execution of innovative, high-impact advertising campaigns tailored to the unique needs and goals of our diverse brand partners, and a vital creative force behind the creation of NBCU corporate sales events.

The ideal candidate is a proven leader with a passion for storytelling, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the advertising landscape, with demonstrated experience leading creative teams in both video creative and visual design.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive, insights-based creative strategy that aligns with the company's overall marketing goals and brand vision.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of creative directors and designers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Campaign Development: Oversee the end-to-end creative process for custom advertising campaigns, B2B and corporate events projects, from concept development and ideation to production and execution.
  • Client Collaboration: Build strong relationships with key clients, understanding their unique needs, goals, and brand identities to develop tailored campaigns that resonate with their target audiences.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of creative excellence, ensuring all work meets or exceeds client expectations and industry best practices.
  • Budget Management: Manage the creative department's budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently to maximize campaign impact.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay current with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in the advertising industry, across linear, digital, and social media platforms, adapting strategies and tactics as needed.
  • Performance Tracking: Measure and analyze campaign performance, using data-driven insights to optimize future efforts and demonstrate ROI to clients.

  • Media industry, media sales experience
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Self-starter; ability to work very independently, but also fit into a strong team environment
  • Ability to travel as necessary
  • Ability to effectively analyze data
  • Excellent interpersonal and client relation skills
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in a creative leadership role within an advertising agency or media company, or in-house creative team, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful campaigns.
  • Must have demonstrable experience leading creative teams in both video production and visual design, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects in both areas.

  • Experience with digital and social platforms and emerging technologies
  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, design, or a related field a plus (Master's degree preferred)

Eligibility Requirements

  • Hybrid in-office position
  • Must be willing to travel

Salary Range: $175,000 - $235,000, Bonus Eligible
