The Role:

As the VP of Corporate Communications at DailyPay, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our narrative and amplifying our mission. We're a dynamic, rapidly growing company at the forefront of the WorkTech revolution, and we need a visionary leader to help us tell our story in a way that resonates with clients, end users, employees, and the regulatory ecosystem.

You will lead crafting our corporate messaging, ensuring DailyPay's voice is heard loud and clear, both internally and externally. Your role will be pivotal in positioning us as a resilient, innovative leader in this emerging space.

We seek a performance-driven individual with a proven track record of building and executing measurable goals. You will be a strategic, process-driven, collaborator who can align with senior leadership and partner across the organization with our Marketing, Sales, Client Success, Customer Operations and Public Policy teams to evangelize our mission and evolution.

Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, you will lead a small direct team and provide direction and guidance to a larger extended team. You will manage agency relationships, support our public policy and government affairs efforts, coordinate crisis and rapid response communications, and lead our public readiness communication strategy.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Corporate Communication Strategy & Planning: You will work with the Executive Leadership Team to develop and oversee corporate positioning that conveys the strategy, goals and mission of the organization. Collaborating closely with the Marketing Communications team, responsible for external activation, to ensure alignment with our corporate strategy and priorities. Responsible for reporting the status and outcomes of our plans to senior leadership.
  • Internal Communications: Keep employees informed on company performance, strategy, and vision. Supporting the CEO and CSuite to develop and disseminate key internal communications to employees and stakeholders. Lead and coordinate monthly Town Halls, company events, and key company-wide initiatives.
  • Investor Relations: Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team - owning and coordinating investor relations and communications strategies that align with corporate goals, foster market growth, and elevate our company profile.
  • Public Policy Communications: Drive our regulatory/legislative communications strategy, focused on reputation management. Overseeing our external and internal agency relationships and state/federal PR efforts.
  • Crisis and Response Management: Develop and oversee cross-department crisis communications plans to preserve reputation, mitigate negative market sentiment, and avert issues with regulators.

What You Bring to The Team:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 10+ years of corporate communications and/or agency experience
  • Extensive background in corporate communications, particularly in navigating policy and regulatory landscapes, ideally within the technology or financial sector
  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively

Pay Transparency. DailyPay takes a market-based approach to compensation, which may vary depending on your location. United States locations are categorized into three tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The salary ranges are listed by geographic tier. Additionally, this role may be eligible for variable incentive compensation and stock options. Where a candidate fits within the compensation range for a role is based on their demonstrated experience, qualifications, skills, and internal equity.
