Vice President Clinical Development

A clinical-stage biotechnology company in the precision oncology space is looking for a Vice President of Clinical Development to join the team.

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, the VP Clinical Development will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of clinical trials. You will develop and implement clinical strategy and maintain relationships with KOLs and Health Authority representatives.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Monitoring clinical trials including oversight of trial conduct and safety
• Leading the development of clinical sections of regulatory documents, including responses to Health Authorities
• Leading protocol development and formulating study designs
• Supporting data analysis and assembly
• Supporting overall program safety reporting
• Presenting at investigator meetings and site initiation visits

Key requirements

• Doctor of Medicine and Board Certification or Board Eligibility
• Clinical training in a medical specialty (e.g. internal medicine, surgery)
• Background in oncology.
• Experience designing and conducting early to late-stage clinical trials
• Experience interacting with US and European Health Authorities and submitting regulatory documentation
• Accustomed to fast-paced, small biotech environment
