This position leads a functionally diverse team that acts as primary point of Operations contact for key internal business partners (Commercial Sales and Product Divisions) with an emphasis on operational planning for growth of non-Acute businesses, Leading and coordinating efforts for “vertical startups” of large and complex customer and capital project implementations and administrative support for the Operations function. This position reports to the SVP of Operational Excellence.
Responsibilities:
Partner with Commercial Sales (primarily non-acute) to ensure appropriate analysis (financial and operational) is conducted for prospective customers, including assessing and building plans to support “non routine” customers requests.
Partner with Product Divisions to clearly understand growth trajectory for “specialty divisions” that require special handling and/or storage needs and develop short and long range plans to ensure sufficient capacity ahead of business need.
Act (collectively with the direct team) as the primary Operations representative for performing due diligence on operational capabilities of potential acquisition targets and clearly assess risks and opportunities for the business.
Partner with Product Divisions and Vendor Management Team to drive improved customer experience and operational efficiencies.
Lead Operations pre-acquisition integration planning and post-acquisition implementation activities, including – at times – interim leadership of acquired operations, as directed.
Lead and coordinate planning and implementation efforts to ensure major customer implementations and realignments and major capital project implementations are executed with as close to zero operational disruption as possible.
Provide organizational capability to support Operations corporate administrative needs ranging from executive support to analyzing purchasing and reconciling operational supplies and invoices for the network to managing related vendor relationships.
Actively partner, engage and communicate with Operational leaders to disseminate business information and seek feedback from “line” leaders regarding plans and capabilities needed to support business growth.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Operations, Program and/or Project Management
Demonstrated experience driving continuous improvement in performance
Demonstrated experience leading multiple priority initiatives for multiple stakeholders, simultaneously
Demonstrated experience leading geographically dispersed teams and achieving results by leading leaders of teams
Strong collaboration capabilities and demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority.
End-to-end mindset that focuses on optimal outcomes for the company
Exceptional communication skills to ensure clarity and alignment on priorities
Strong executive presence engaging with peers, customers, suppliers and executive leaders
Position requires ability to travel up to 33% of the time for business purposes
