Job Overview:

The Sr. Director of Sales will drive the business development function for our SAAS Enterprise business. This person will lead teams to meet and exceed sales metrics and manage the entire sales administration process to build a high performance sales team. They will collaborate with various internal and external professionals to lead and motivate the sales team to achieve specific growth goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach and develop, a high performing team of Sales Directors, Account Executives, and Business Development Representatives.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of clients’ businesses, the industry, and the competitive landscape to build and execute an effective growth strategy.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
  • Hold regular communication and coaching sessions with team.
  • Set, track, and meet/exceed sales targets for your team.
  • Ongoing interaction with Operations and Marketing to identify key strategic initiatives to drive growth.
  • Evaluate and implement improvements in the sales process.
  • Drive department projects to meet deadlines.


Requirements:

  • Track record of success leading large sales teams in a Software-as-a-Services industry. Proven ability to listen and interpret customer needs and requirements and present a solution.
  • Heavy preference for candidates with experience in the industrial services or manufacturing industry.
  • Demonstrated experience developing talented sales managers in a distributed environment.
  • Providing accurate sales forecasts and relevant reporting based upon realistic timelines.
  • A consultative, value-based driven sales methodology.
  • The ability to penetrate and sell to executive-level decision-makers and to multiple constituencies within an organization.
  • Competitive nature with a need to succeed in a team environment.
  • The ability to work with little supervision. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Microsoft products.
  • May require travel as needed for customer and internal stakeholder meetings.


Performance Expectations:

  • Meet and/or exceed the revenue quotas that have been assigned to corresponding sales team.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Certus products and how they benefit customers.
  • Identify key initiatives that will drive growth in the organization.


OTE for this position will be between $180,000 and $240,000 annually. Specifics will be discussed during phone interviews with qualified candidates.
