About The Company

Our client is a global asset management firm looking to hire a Vice President of Tax with demonstrated experience in venture capital and other investment transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the tax compliance process and review deals primarily in the private equity and venture capital business lines
  • Design and implement U.S. and Foreign tax provision automated processes utilizing existing systems, evaluating new systems, or building custom systems
  • Review tax provision workpapers, with a focus on designing and implementing an automated process
  • Provide tax expertise and research to address day-to-day issues effectively and quickly for funds (trading in all product types, including securities and derivatives) and management companies
  • Coordinate with Big Four accounting firms to prepare and review partnership, corporate, individual, international, and state returns

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
  • 10+ years of work experience in U.S. taxation, with a focus on partnerships
  • Experience with private equity, venture capital, or asset management
  • CPA license
  • Heavy tax compliance experience

Salary Range

$150,000-$200,000
