The automotive markets Holman serves include fleet management and leasing; vehicle fabrication and upfitting; component manufacturing and productivity solutions; powertrain distribution and logistics services; commercial and personal insurance and risk management; and retail automotive sales as one of the largest privately owned dealership groups in the United States.

Holman is currently accepting applications for the position of Vice President- Analytics Technology

Primary Tasks:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for analytics technology initiatives aligned with the company's overall objectives, ensuring that analytics capabilities support business growth and innovation.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to the analytics technology team, including the Customer Analytics Director, Data Science Project Lead, and Business Analytics Director.
  • Provide guidance and direction to managers across departments, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
  • Stay abreast of emerging analytics technologies, tools, and methodologies relevant to the business; evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance analytical capabilities and drive business value.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of robust data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, integrity, security, and compliance; drive initiatives to optimize data management processes and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their analytics needs and translate them into actionable insights and solutions.
  • Develop and communicate a clear analytics strategy that aligns with business goals and drives informed decision-making across the organization.
  • Work closely with other departments, including IT, operations, sales, marketing, and finance, to identify opportunities for leveraging analytics technology to improve processes, optimize performance, and drive business outcomes; coordinate efforts across departments, fostering strong interdepartmental communication and synergy.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of analytics initiatives.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Additionally, oversee performance measurement across multiple departments, providing actionable insights for optimization.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of analytics technology projects within scope, budget, and timeline constraints; ensure effective project management practices are followed to drive successful outcomes.
  • Oversee complex projects spanning multiple departments, optimizing resources and timelines.
  • Communicate regularly with executive leadership, including the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer, to provide updates on analytics technology initiatives, performance metrics, and strategic direction.
  • Supervise financial performance across departments, optimizing budgets and expenditures.
  • Consolidate and present reports across departments, providing comprehensive insights to executive leadership.
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned

Relevant Work Experience:

  • 10+ years’ experience in analytics technology, data management or related roles at a management level; multiple levels of reporting relationships strongly preferred
  • Has extensive knowledge and experience within own function and general knowledge of areas, departments and/or function(s) within and across other disciplines

Education and/or Training:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field required, Master’s preferred
  • Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)

Pay:

We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $255,870.00 - $402,995.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay and bonus earnings.
