VFX Pipeline Supervisor

VFX Pipeline Supervisor – Full Time – Hillsboro, Oregon

We are partnered with a stop animation studio who is seeking a new VFX Pipeline Supervisor! The person for this role will be responsible for ensuring the technical needs of our clients VFX department are met efficiently and within budget. Leading a team of Technical Directors (TDs), you’ll oversee their tasks, provide technical guidance, and align their efforts with production priorities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical solutions for production challenges.
• Manage TD team, prioritize tasks, and ensure alignment with production goals.
• Design and implement improved workflows.
• Mentor TDs and provide constructive feedback.
• Translate user requirements into actionable plans.
• Communicate production requirements to leadership.
• Resolve conflicts within the team.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• 10+ years VFX post-production experience.
• Previous experience in senior TD or supervisory roles preferred.
• Strong technical skills in Python and industry standard APIs.
• Expertise in DCCs like Maya, Nuke, Houdini, or Katana.
• Familiarity with industry standard tooling like USD, OpenImageIO, and OpenColorIO.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of the VFX pipeline.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
