The Vet Tech / Assistant will be responsible for assisting the veterinarian in providing medical care to animals. The ideal candidate will be a team player, quick learner, have computer skills, and be trustworthy. Duties may include:
Assisting with animal exams and procedures
Administering medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
Performing laboratory tests and analyzing results
Maintaining accurate medical records
Assisting with animal restraint
Cleaning and maintaining equipment and facilities
Providing excellent customer service to clients
The Vet Tech / Assistant must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle multiple tasks at once. They must also have excellent communication skills and be able to work well with others. A love for animals is a must.
