Vertical Video Producer

The Biden For President campaign is looking for a talented, driven, detail-oriented individual to join its road video team focused on producing and capturing vertical (9x16) videos for online social media use on Tiktok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Youtube. The ideal candidate for this role has experience in vertical video production, knowledge of social media and vertical video best practices, a passion for politics, and the ability to successfully collaborate in high-pressure environments. The position is full-time and based in Washington, D.C. with significant travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Create multiple, high-performing vertical videos each week for social media usage
• Film compelling and creative vertical video content at principal events
• Oversee the production of vertical video ideas from scripting to publishing
• Keep up with platform trends and constantly come up with new, high-potential ideas for videos
• Work with members of the rapid social media team and video team members to coordinate video coverage and products
• Craft new video concepts with the other road video team members to film at events
  
  
  

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in video content creation and editing
• Experience creating successful videos for social platforms including Tiktok
• Experience in all facets of video production, especially in filming vertical videos and editing
• Experience filming in high-pressure situations and adjusting to flexible shoot situations on location
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other editing tools
• The desire to create informative and persuasive videos that inspire viewers to support the Biden for President Campaign
• Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team or crew
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Willingness to travel
• Willingness to relocate to Washington, D.C
