Roles And Responsibilities

• Investment Strategy and Execution:
• Contribute to the development and execution of the firm’s investment strategy and thesis.
• Source, evaluate, and conduct due diligence on potential investment opportunities in alignment with strategic objectives.
• Deal Sourcing and Evaluation:
• Proactively identify and assess early-stage and growth-stage investment opportunities through networking, industry research, and market analysis.
• Analyze business plans, financial statements, market trends, and competitive landscapes to make informed investment decisions.
• Investment Decision Making:
• Present investment opportunities to the investment committee, providing comprehensive investment memos and recommendations.
• Participate in investment negotiations, deal structuring, and due diligence processes to optimize investment terms and mitigate risks.
• Portfolio Management and Value Creation:
• Provide strategic guidance and operational support to portfolio companies to enhance growth, scalability, and operational efficiency.
• Monitor portfolio performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and implement value-creation initiatives to maximize investor returns.
• Investor Relations and Reporting:
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing and potential investors, providing regular updates on portfolio performance and investment activities.
• Prepare and present investment updates, performance reports, and strategic insights to stakeholders and limited partners.
• Industry Networking and Thought Leadership:
• Build and leverage a strong network within the venture capital ecosystem, including entrepreneurs, industry experts, and co-investors.
• Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, participate in industry events, and represent the firm in key forums and conferences.
  

Skills And Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Venture Partner, Principal, or in a senior investment role within a reputable venture capital firm or startup ecosystem.
• Deep understanding of venture capital investing, deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio management.
• Strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and ability to assess market opportunities and risks.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and startup ecosystem dynamics.
• Advanced degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
