Venture Capital Risk Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive and analytical Venture Capital Risk Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. The Risk Manager will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and managing risks associated with our investment portfolio and operations. Roles And Responsibilities

• Risk Identification and Assessment:

• Identify emerging risks, industry trends, and external factors that could impact portfolio companies and investment performance.
• Risk Mitigation Strategies:
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and action plans to minimize exposure and protect the firm's interests.
• Collaborate with investment professionals and portfolio managers to implement risk controls, diversification strategies, and contingency plans.
• Portfolio Monitoring and Analysis:
• Monitor the performance and risk profile of portfolio companies, conducting ongoing analysis and stress testing to assess risk exposure and performance metrics.
• Analyze financial statements, cash flow projections, and operational metrics to identify potential risk indicators and deviations from expected outcomes.
• Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards related to risk management and investment activities.
• Monitor regulatory developments and updates impacting venture capital investments, ensuring timely adherence and reporting.
• Reporting and Communication:
• Prepare risk management reports, presentations, and updates for senior management, investment committees, and stakeholders.
