Position Overview: Looking to break into Venture Capital? Are you an MBA student with a passion for venture capital and a knack for leadership? PIN is seeking motivated individuals to lead our Investment Club initiatives at universities across the country. As a Venture Capital Investment Club Leader, you will have the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the venture capital industry while building a strong network of future leaders and entrepreneurs, all while building your venture track record.

Key Responsibilities:

• Club Leadership: Serve as the primary leader and point of contact for the PIN Investment Club at your school.
• Recruitment and Engagement: Recruit and engage MBA students who are interested in venture capital and entrepreneurship.
• Educational Events: Organize and host workshops, speaker sessions, and networking events to educate club members about venture capital principles, investment strategies, and industry trends.
• Deal Sourcing: Collaborate with your community to source promising startup opportunities for potential investment.
• Due Diligence: Conduct research and due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including market analysis, competitive landscape assessment, and financial modeling.
• Pitch Presentations: Prepare and present investment opportunities to your club investment committee for consideration.
• Portfolio Management: Assist in monitoring and supporting the growth of your club’s portfolio companies.

Qualifications:

• Current MBA student with a strong interest in venture capital, entrepreneurship, and startup ecosystem.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and drive projects forward.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Prior experience in venture capital, investment banking, consulting, or startup operations is a plus but not required.

Clarification:

• This is an opportunity to lead and run your own investment club at your current school. You will operate it as it is your own investment club, PIN will handle all of the backend logistics to get you up and running.
