Our client, the world's leading search engine and technology company, is seeking a Vendor Operations and data Manager, Support Operations . This is a 6 month + contract and hybrid remote position located in San Bruno, CA.

Summary:

  • You will be responsible for end-to-end client vendor operations.
  • You work on client products to enable support for users and creators across channels.
  • In this highly cross-functional role, you are the voice of our users and problem-solve with the internal teams.
  • You process suggestions, bugs, abuse and other product information to ensure we are constantly improving the user experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive outcomes for one or more analyses or a piece of an overarching analysis (e.g., research, experimental design using analytical tools to test hypotheses and draw conclusions, storytelling and consulting to business leaders to drive action, and designing data strategies for reporting and dashboards) as an individual contributor.
  • Lead efforts on business analyses to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Identify key market drivers for business stakeholders.
  • Identify key Vendor trends and develop insights for performance improvement and reporting.
  • Contribute to analysis, scoping, managing priorities in alignment with multiple work streams, and allocating resources by knowing what resources are available and how to access each one.
  • Challenge:
    • Use analytical reasoning to identify defined business problems with multiple approaches and help provide optimal solutions.
    • Address and articulate conflicts between the goals and objectives of stakeholders by understanding the nature of the problem and underlying assumptions.
    • Build new processes, procedures, methods, tests, and components with foresight to anticipate and address future business issues or concerns.
  • Influence:
    • Influence teams with similar objectives to align resources and direction to achieve results.
    • Develop rich relationships, internally and externally, offer support and direction to team members, and foster teamwork and mutual respect.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to push work forward and drive successful outcomes.
    • Communicate business results and related findings to senior leadership and to the broader organization by delivering presentations and addressing key takeaways.
    • Guide the integration of multiple adjacent processes, timelines, goals, and objectives.
    • Communicate goals, progress, and roadblocks clearly to clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Evaluate new market and product opportunities.
  • Drive the development of company-wide opportunities such as evaluating new market and product opportunities to drive cross-functional initiatives.
  • Influence decisions through data analysis (Business Data Analysis).
  • Drive and recommend data-oriented analysis, architect metrics, synthesize information, solve problems, and influence leadership and business decision-making by presenting insights and market trends.
  • Optimize business performance.
  • Drive strategic analysis, defining ways to optimize business performance and ensure best-in-class execution within relevant PA, function, or sub-function.
  • Support ad-hoc strategic support requests (Business analysis).
  • Drive responses to ad-hoc data requests, answering questions, and providing technical support, analyses and recommendations to senior leaders.

Requirements:

  • Strong Project/Program management, Strong business communications and professionalism.
  • Business operations knowledge:
    • Knowledge of the management process of business operations for a given product, service, or domain. This includes understanding the broader context of generating, securing, and increasing the value of business and revenue outcomes, and knowledge of and experience with driving efficiency and effectiveness of businesses.
  • Consultative skills:
    • Ability to understand stakeholder needs through dialogue before conducting analysis and making recommendations.
  • Dashboarding and presentation :
    • Ability to create dashboards to link, report, and analyze metrics based on available data.
    • This includes the ability to prepare effective presentations in content and function, and to speak competently to the level of the audience.
  • Data analysis and synthesis :
    • Ability to analyze information, draw conclusions, generate alternatives and solutions, and evaluate outcomes.
    • This includes the ability to use data to add value to business planning and strategies.
  • Data judgment :
    • Ability to convert and/or uncover open-ended real world problems within the business context into trackable metrics or a structured analytical/statistical framework, as well as the ability to generate business-related insights from data analysis in a way that is meaningful to the stakeholders.
  • Domain-specific knowledge and skills:
    • Ability to develop, understand, and apply domain-specific technical knowledge to complete assigned work, tasks, and support others in the organization.
  • Experimental design :
    • Knowledge of the principles and best practices of designing experiments to address issues or evaluate impact.
    • This includes knowledge of design parameters, sampling strategies, data collection, and analytical techniques.
  • Project management skills :
    • Ability to effectively prioritize work, display reasonable judgment in setting priorities, and recognizing when help is needed.
    • This includes the ability to determine long-term versus short-term priorities.
  • Storytelling :
    • Ability to influence and inspire an audience by crafting stories using data that elicit empathy or create buy-in.
  • Technical acumen :
    • Ability to quickly learn the general concepts and principles in a statistical and mathematical domain, solve or analyze issues or provide useful insights, and demonstrate interest and curiosity in acquiring knowledge across similar domains.
  • Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.

Pay rate range: $92.64 - $114.01 hourly
