The Van Driver is responsible for supporting the manufacturing operations through on-time deliveries of equipment, documents, supplies, crates and tooling to and from various plants and warehouse locations in the area. The Van Driver also helps to maintain the warehouse, keeping the area and supplies organized, occasionally moving pallets and assisting with unloading shipments.

Minimum Qualifications Required For Position
Education, Training, and/or Experience
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
High School Diploma or equivalent
25 years of age or older
Valid WA State Driver’s License
Forklift certification preferred

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Properly secure loads; place, stack or palletize goods in preparation for transport
Carefully load and unload materials
Deliver product(s) in a safe and secure manner to prevent damage, spoilage or loss
Fuel vehicle(s)
Chart the best route possible in order to make effective use of travel time
Use material handling equipment including a pallet jack, hand cart and forklift
Follow DOT regulations, safety standards, traffic laws and established traffic and transportation procedures
Keep vehicle clean and maintained at all times
Perform vehicle inspection at the beginning and end of each shift
Check tires, lights, oil, fluids, and brakes to ensure vehicle is in proper working condition and to report mechanical issues
Operate forklifts to maintain warehouse area as necessary
