The City of Commerce City is hiring for a Van Driver! For this position, the Van Driver will primarily provide safe transportation of senior citizens (or others 18 and older) to and from activities and field trips and may occasionally provide transportation for youth and teen programs. Individual must be able to assist with loading and unloading of passengers. They will need to feel comfortable leading the group and working with businesses/vendors. Driver serves as a chaperone who is responsible for safe trips to and from the recreation center and the safety of all participants. Hours for the position are flexible based upon schedule of individual driver and trip needs.

Hiring Salary Is Dependent Upon Experience.
The hiring range is $17.16 - $19.43 per hour.

Minimum Qualifications
Applicant must be 21 years of age or older, pass a background check, possess a current Drivers License, and complete CPR/First Aid/AED training prior to first day of work. Applicant will also be required to complete the “Coaching the Van Driver IV” training materials. Applicant will be required to provide motor vehicle driver record to staff for review to determine if sufficient.
Past Formal Driving History Is Preferred (not Required)
