Minutes to Seconds is looking for a UX Designer in a Contract role in Remote mode in US.

RequirementsWe require UX Design services to develop an intuitive and user-friendly Researcher Portal.

Working with the sponsor to understand the vision and goals of the portal you will build on the provided business requirements and deliver one or more mock-ups to demonstrate to stakeholders.

The mock-ups can be in the form of a web development framework but the design is the key deliverable for this engagement as technology selection will be a subsequent step.

Essential criteria

  • User-Centered Design Proficiency: Candidates must demonstrate a strong ability to create and iterate intuitive and engaging user experiences that meet the needs and expectations of users, all while complying with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
  • Collaborative teamwork: It's crucial for candidates to have the ability to work effectively within a team environment, engaging with user researchers, developers, a product manager, and stakeholders to align design solutions with business objectives.
  • Technical and Adaptive Design Proficiency: A deep understanding of design tools is essential (for example Figma and Miro), along with the flexibility to produce designs at varying fidelity levels, tailored to the specific requirements of the project's context and objectives.

Desirable criteria

  • Familiarity with the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is advantageous, as it enables a more holistic approach to user experience design understanding of technical constraints and closer collaboration with development teams.
  • Agile Development Experience: Familiarity with Agile methodologies is beneficial, fostering a flexible and responsive design approach that complements fast-paced development environments.
