UX Designer

Job Title: UX Designer

Location: Kirkland US,(Hybrid)

Job Description:

• Create interaction design solutions for various Cloud Drive projects.
• Collaborate closely with user research to inform design direction.
• Communicate design strategy to both internal and external teams; clearly rationalize and justify design work and advocate for users' needs.
• Partner with UX, PM, and Eng leaders to envision the future of Drive UX
• Understand business goals and seek to understand product market, competitors, opportunities, and challenges.
• Coach and manage designers to deliver the best work of their careers.
• Lead design for different devices and platforms.
• Collaborate with other UX leaders to drive best practices and UX consistency across Cloud Workspace overall.
• Ensure our experiences and standards are accessible.
• Contribute to the creation of visual and motion design language, standards, and design systems for the customer-facing Drive experience.

Desired Qualifications:

• Independently create interaction design solutions for various Cloud Drive projects.
• Partner with UX, PM, and Eng peers to create design solutions and work through approval processes to get them built.
• Create design specifications including accessibility standards.

Must Have:

• 5+ years of professional interaction or UX design experience
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams of visual & motion designers.
• Strong product sensibility, with capability to evangelize and drive key product innovations.
• Experience designing with accessibility requirements and internationalization standards.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to represent and evangelize complex business or technical concepts externally.
