Mobile Designer

Optomi, in partnership with a premier client in the telecommunications field, is seeking a talented UX Designer with specialized experience in native iOS application design. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a dynamic and innovative environment.

This role is seeking applicants in the Greater Dallas OR Atlanta areas for local collaboration sessions as needed. This role is designated primarily as remote.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and designers to create intuitive, user-centric experiences for native iOS applications.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate and enhance user interfaces.
• Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure design specifications are implemented accurately.
• Maintain design consistency across platforms and ensure adherence to UX best practices.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in mobile app design and user experience.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing native iOS applications.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
• Solid understanding of iOS human interface guidelines, design principles, and patterns.
• Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating findings into actionable design improvements.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
