We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Sustainability Senior Manager based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States. As a Corporate Sustainability Senior Manager, your key focus will be on supporting our company's sustainable initiatives and goals, acting as the liaison with our business segment on sustainability projects, and providing sustainability support globally. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities
Support and coordinate our company's response to the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP)
Assist in the execution of the double materiality assessment (DMA)
Act as a liaison with the business segment on sustainability projects, customer inquiries, and tenders
Support the recasting of our 2030 corporate responsibility goals
Assist in the development of the Science Based Target Initiative (SBTi) strategy
Provide sustainability support globally for a designated business segment
Manage new and emerging Corporate Responsibility/Sustainability external stakeholder needs for the designated business segment
Support the business segments with sustainability information about operational improvements, products, and services
Develop, implement, and quantify benefits of sustainability projects to help the company meet its corporate responsibility goals
Work in partnership with the segment in identifying projects to promote the environmental attributes of our operations, products, and services
Develop materials to communicate progress on sustainability in conjunction with relevant business communications and legal partners
Provide segment representation on a matrixed program of activity to deliver information on all relevant governance, customer, and legislative requirements to generate business value
Work with segment R& D to influence the design of more sustainable products and packaging
Educate and raise awareness internally and externally about our Corporate Responsibility Goals and performance, and environmental attributes of operations, products, and packaging
Promote understanding of sustainability initiatives and encourage integration across all areas of the business.
Requirements
Proven experience in a Product Manager role or similar capacity
Demonstrated skills in customer service and communication
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience in operations, planning, and policy management
Understanding of compliance procedures and materials handling
Ability to design and deliver presentations
Experience with workstation support and auditing
Knowledge of internet and network operations
Understanding of benefit functions and collection processes
Proficiency in the English language
Proven track record of driving progress in previous roles
Ability to act as a liaison between different teams and stakeholders
Understanding of engineering principles and practices
Willingness to travel as required by the role
Experience working with stakeholders and driving integration efforts.
