BoostDraft is looking for an entrepreneur who has an expertise in selling legal tech software to the US law firms and in-house professionals
About BoostDraft
BoostDraft is a software engineering company that develops the AI-assisted legal document editor that drastically changes the legal drafting world, eliminating overlooked inefficiencies.
The company was founded two years ago by MIT and Stanford grad students, starting with the Japanese market. Within two years, we have grown to more than 7,500 paid users, without any marketing. 17 of the top 20 largest law firms in Japan are using our software. Most of users are coming from word of mouth, without marketing. We have several long-term, large-scale contracts with famed enterprises and law firms. As a result, we have been highly profitable from Day 1 and have experienced exponential growth without outside funding at all.
Now we are entering the US market. Although we see some differences between the Japanese market and the US market, the reaction from US legal professionals has been really great, saying BoostDraft is game changing. Although our CEO is currently overseeing the US business, he is also managing a variety of areas, such as product development, R&D and other markets. Therefore, we want you to join our team as the US country manager, reporting to the CEO and co-founder, leveraging your entrepreneurial spirit to establish and lead our business in the United States.

You will:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive market strategy for US, including identifying target customer segments, market positioning, and competitive analysis, and achieve PMF in the US
- Determine the key features that are essential to addressing our customer needs
- Achieve and exceed revenue targets by effectively managing sales teams and fostering a high-performance culture. Implement strategies to maximize customer acquisition and retention.
- Build and lead a high-performing team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to team members to achieve their professional growth and deliver outstanding results.
- Collaborate with global teams, including product development, marketing, and engineering.
Who we're Looking For
Entrepreneur who has an expertise in selling legal tech software to the US
- Entrepreneurship: You should have the entrepreneurial mindset, doing everything that is needed
- Legal industry expertise: You can communicate with the legal industry fluently
- Sales: Be an exceptional sales leader. This means having achieved exceptional results in your sales career. Exceptional means the type of results that are beyond the reach of 90% of sales leaders.
- Leadership: 7+ years of relevant, regional or country leadership experience
- Enterprise sales: You have closed enterprise-level accounts, with experience selling legal tech a plus
- You should have a good cash management as a lean startup
- You can build a strategic business for a market and execute it with a team
- You've already managed a team: this means performance management, hiring, firing, coaching and training
- You can build high performing & engaged teams
- You speak English at a native or near-native level.

- Make BoostDraft the standard for legal drafting in the US market
- Generate revenue that meets or exceeds annual targets
