Job Summary.
The Unit Clerk acts as receptionist for the assigned nursing unit. Responsible for performing a variety of clerical duties to support the nursing staff relating to the updating and organizing of information on the nursing units; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor, nurse managers, and charge nurses. Essential Responsibilities:
Acts as receptionist for the assigned nursing unit.
Responsible for performing a variety of clerical duties to support the nursing staff relating to the updating and organizing of information on the nursing units.
Reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor, nurse managers, and charge nurses.
Peform other duties as required.
Responsibilities Qualifications
Related Experience :
Requires excellent organizational skills. Must be able to deal with a range of ongoing tasks at the same time.
Conveys a professional and positive image and attitude regarding the organization.
Demonstrates commitment to continued professional growth and development.
Basic clerical and computer skills.
Education or Degree Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
