Responsibilities
Analyze health benefit plan characteristics and assess risks for our clients.
Utilize established underwriting criteria and policies to determine appropriate rating methodologies.
Develop and maintain models for economic analysis of market alternatives.
Evaluate and recommend pricing options and plan design changes based on economic analysis and trends.
Prepare financial models for reserve and budget calculations aligned with client strategies.
Validate renewals and requests for proposals ensuring accuracy in utilization and experience reporting.
Primary Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare underwriting across various products and funding types (PPO, HMO, Stop Loss, Pharmacy, Self-Funded/ Fully-Insured).
2+ years of experience in Risk Management.
Intermediate proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to understand and calculate revenue, expense, risk, and profit metrics.

Salary range for this role varies by location and factors such as local labor markets, education, and experience.
