Job Type: Part-time/Full-time (late swing and graveyard shifts)

Pay: $17-19 an hour

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Unarmed Security Guard to join our team at a solar panel farm located in Stratford, CA. The security guard will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and the solar panel facilities. This role will mainly consist of vehicle patrol. Please do not apply if you do not have a valid DL.

Responsibilities:

• Patrol in vehicle the solar panel farm premises regularly to ensure the security of the site
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activities
• Respond promptly to alarms or calls for assistance
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as trespassing or loitering, and apprehend or evict them from the premises if necessary
• Report any security breaches, safety hazards, or unusual incidents
• Provide assistance to employees and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Conduct periodic checks of equipment and systems such as lighting, gates, and fences to ensure they are operational and secure
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies if needed
• Maintain accurate records and write detailed incident reports
  
  

Requirements:

• VALID CA DRIVER'S LICENSE AND CLEAN DRIVING RECORD IS REQUIRED!!!!!!!!
• Proven experience as a security guard or relevant position preferred
• Valid BSIS Guard Card
• Ability to operate security equipment such as surveillance cameras and alarms
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
• Physical ability to patrol the premises on foot and respond to incidents quickly
• Must be dependable and punctual
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in CPR/First Aid/AED is a plus
• Prior experience in security for industrial sites or solar farms
  
  

Working Conditions:

• This position may require working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays may be required
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, and occasionally lifting or moving objects up to 50 lbs
