Responsibilities
Ultrasound Imaging: Perform a variety of general ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts scans, adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
Patient Care: Prepare and position patients for scans, ensuring their comfort and safety. Obtain patient history and relevant clinical information.
Image Quality: Optimize image quality through proper technique selection and utilization of advanced imaging technology.
Collaboration: Work with radiologists, physicians, and other team members to ensure accurate diagnoses and timely treatment planning.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete patient records, documenting procedures and findings.
Qualifications
Education: Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
Licensure and Certification:
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification or equivalent.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Experience:
Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
Proficiency in ultrasound equipment operation and image processing software.
Skills:
