Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the ultrasound examination process.
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition.
Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both with patients and within the team.
Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with advancements in ultrasound technology and practices.
Contribute to a positive work environment through active participation in team meetings and initiatives.
Qualifications:
Registered by the RDMS in ultrasound; ARRT registration may be acceptable depending on area and experience.
BLS certification is required.
1-2 years of hands-on experience performing ultrasounds.
Strong technical skills and knowledge of ultrasound equipment and procedures.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Willingness to work weekends on a rotational basis.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Commitment to patient care and safety.
