UI / UX Designer

A NauWork client is seeking a UI/UX Designer to join their team in a fully remote capacity.

This startup is building a revolutionary travel platform using social and artificial intelligence to make the world more approachable. Their software allows people to save and share the places they’ve been and want to go while cultivating community. They leverage machine learning, social relationships, and network effects to build the modern travel guide that empowers people to dynamically discover new places and experiences - tailored to their personal travel style - while connecting them with relevant travelers.

Right now they are looking for a super talented UI / UX designer to become the mastermind behind their visual identity, crafting experiences that captivate users across our mobile web and native app platforms.

Responsibilities Include:

• Design user interfaces and experiences (UI / UX): Create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for web, mobile apps, or other digital products, considering usability, accessibility, and aesthetics
• Lead design efforts from inception to release on our new native app!
• Develop prototypes and wireframes: Translate user research and design ideas into interactive prototypes and wireframes for testing and feedback
• Iterate and refine designs: Collaborate with stakeholders and conduct usability testing to iterate and refine designs based on user feedback
• Ensure design consistency: Maintain brand guidelines and design system consistency across all platforms and touchpoints
• Support investor relations through visual storytelling efforts
• Support the growth team with brand strategy, as well as marketing and promotional materials
• Talk to customers to better understand their needs and relationship with the brand
• Stay up-to-date on design trends and best practices
• Contribute to the overall product vision and strategy

Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of experience as a UI / UX designer, with a portfolio showcasing exceptional web and native app design work
• Mastery of industry-standard design software like Adobe, Figma, etc.
• A deep understanding of UI/UX design principles and the ability to translate them into user-centric experiences
• Ability to create engaging and aesthetic marketing content that aligns with the company brand, goals, and values (and drives travelers to the app!)
• A burning passion for travel and a keen eye for capturing its essence through design.
• Impeccable communication and collaboration skills, thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Unique combination of creativity + high attention to detail
