HTC is seeking a Senior UI FRONT-END Developer that can work as independent contributor in our customer’s web development team supporting an internal web portal/application for Group Business to get a rate quote for a health plan. Sales, Rating, Underwriting, Proposal and Renewal Rating system for group business (internal and external use). Allows internal and external sales products to provisionally quote all our group products and produce a proposal packet complete with highlights and rate sheets. This team works in IT Solution delivery and is responsible for the development of the group application.

Job Responsibilities

• The new hire will be assigned to a project team that is responsible for integrating 3rd party vendor solutions within the group rate quote application.
• Complete onboarding activities with assistance from team members will include installing local dev tools and setting up a local development environment on the local machine.
• Requesting and establishing access to development and testing environments.
• The Developer will participate in peer code reviews.
• The Developer will be responsible for updating technical documents and placing them in Confluence or other team document repositories.
• The Developer will debug and ensure that code is defect free.
• The Developer will support release efforts to ensure code is successfully migrated to production and provide warranty support after the release
• Ensure coding follows best practices and code is aligned to functional and technical requirements.
  
  

Required Skills

• Front End - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue js (preference) or Angular js, or React js.
• Substantial working knowledgeable on relational databases - Postgres, Oracle, Microsoft sql server.
• UI Design experience with Material UI and/or Vuetify (Preference).
• Proven GitHub and Jenkins experience.
