Tutors/ Instructors -- Remote | WFH

Job Description

Our Tutors play a crucial role in supporting diverse modes of learning, including distance, onsite, and hybrid courses. We provide comprehensive career and educational services covering academic, social, and professional development programs. Sessions typically last 1-2 hours, occurring 2-3 times per week during both school hours and outside school hours. Tutors are integral to expanding the Kinetic Potential Learning Curriculum.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging academic, social, and/or professional development content across various subject areas.

Provide online and offline academic support to groups of K-12 students (approximately 3-8 students) in subjects like Math, ELA/Reading, or Science, aligned with individualized learning plans.

Design lessons that meet established standards (e.g., CCSS) and align with the KP Learning Curriculum.

Manage learning activities and maintain accurate student records using our proprietary ATMS platform.

Requirements

2-5 years of teaching experience, preferably in Title I schools; online teaching experience is advantageous.

Dedication to student success and a strong commitment to enhancing student performance on standardized assessments.

Bachelor's Degree (Master's or doctoral degree preferred).

Active state teaching license (proof of licensure required).

Ability to inspire students to strive for more in their academic journey.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 - 6 hours per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred
