i-Orthodontics is looking for a passionate and energetic Treatment Coordinator to join our well-established practice in Lone Tree, CO!
This position will require travel to several of our practices within the area.
Full-time
$18.00-$24.00 per hour

i-Orthodontics is looking for a passionate and energetic Treatment Coordinator to join our well-established practice in Lone Tree, CO!

As a Treatment Coordinator, you will play an important role in meeting potential patients and working with the orthodontist to present treatment and payment options to adults, teens, and children.
What you will be doing - key responsibilities:
- Welcome new patients with a friendly and enthusiastic approach.
- Book appointments for new and returning patients utilizing the appropriate scheduling templates.
- Ensure that the schedule accounts for the appropriate amount of doctor time, filling openings as necessary and discussing any major changes with the clinical team.
- Confirm that appointment reminders are being sent out, follow-up with unconfirmed appointments, and reschedule no-shows.
- Answer the telephone to direct calls, take messages, assist with patient emergency calls, and answer general inquiries; follow-up on messages left during Clinic closures.
- Review the patients, health and medical history and determine their goals for treatment.
- Assist in the Orthodontists examination, entering data and listening to the conversation between patient and doctor taking appropriate notes in the patient’s chart.
- Review the treatment plan with the patient and use the available tools to educate them on the available options. (Videos, power-point, pictures, etc.).
- Close the sale, by working with the patient and/or responsible party to design financial payment plans that work for them and help our patients attain the beautiful smile they’ve always wanted.
- Generate correspondence from initial consultation and recall examinations for the referring dentist.
- Follow up with patients who are ready to start treatment.
- Act as a liaison between the doctor and any other dental specialists or general practitioner.
- Complete monthly reports on key performance metrics.
- You are an outgoing, confident, individual, with a passion for patient care.
- Goal-driven, with an amazing work ethic, you are focused on helping the practice grow.
- A natural ability to develop relationships with patients, parents, and your team.
- You have a positive attitude with a strong desire to provide an excellent customer experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; written and verbal, and ability to make patients feel comfortable and at ease.
- You are observant and a good listener.
- 1+ years of Dental or Ortho Treatment Planning experience considered an asset.
- Good with computers, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Certified Dental Assistant an asset.
