The Treasury Manager is an Accelerant group-based role, reporting to the Treasury VP – US, Canada, and Bermuda/Cayman. This opportunity is US based, and a 100% remote role with the expectation of periodic travel for meetings. Accelerant is a private equity backed P&C insurance company with UK, EU, US & CA operations and is continuing to evolve its member centric design and buildout its Treasury infrastructure. Treasury oversight: 70+ companies, Cash & Investments $1.1b, 30+ Banking Counterparties, 400+ bank accounts, 10 currencies, global coverage in the UK and EU while focusing on US, CA, and Bermuda/Cayman operations.

If you join our team, here are some of the things you’ll do:

• Assist in the areas of cash management and investment management – covering multiple business jurisdictions.
• Analyze and forecast cash and investments based on historical trends and future operational planning to support complex operating units with distinct working capital requirements.
• Monitor, identify, and implement operational efficiency improvements, including expense reductions.
• Assist in corporate wide daily cash management including, but not limited to, reconciling transactions, and maintaining proper controls with supporting documentation.
• Manage Treasury Systems and Banking Platform by communicating with banking and third party partners on a frequent basis.
• Working effectively with outsourced third-party administrators and internal parties to ensure a high level of service. Raising service issues in an appropriate manner and following up issues to resolution.
• Help support the growing Treasury function and ensure a customer centric approach for members and internal stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with the wider Treasury & Finance teams, as well as group functions.

Desired qualifications:

• Practical experience of cash management or treasury operations in a corporate environment.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and troubleshooting skills with the ability to effectively summarize findings, both verbally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong excel/financial modelling skills.
• Accounting knowledge without needing to be technically strong.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and effectively across many group functions, adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to identify and accept a change in priority and redirect focus.
• General understanding of banking platforms, including bank security administration.
• Strong understanding of US and general understanding of international payments systems.
• Experience with statutory requirements of insurance companies preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to support business decisions across the enterprise.
