We're currently seeking an experienced Travel Consultant to join our Sports Travel department. This position offers the flexibility of remote work.
Position Overview
As a Travel Consultant in our Sports Travel department, you'll be the first point of contact for our valued clients. Your primary responsibility will be managing domestic and basic international travel requests for group travel. You'll handle inquiries via phone, email, and our online portal, arranging air, hotel, and car reservations efficiently and courteously. This role encompasses all aspects of booking, administrative, and accounting tasks necessary to process travel documents in line with customer requests and industry requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly to client travel requests through various communication channels
Book and manage group travel arrangements, including air, hotel, and car reservations
Process and organize travel documents accurately and efficiently
Support online booking systems and assist clients with their usage
Provide exceptional customer service and strive for positive client experiences
Contribute positively to the team environment and assist in other departments when needed
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience as a travel consultant; Group/Sports Travel experience preferred
Proficiency in Smartpoint/Apollo GDS (preferred)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Analytical and strategic thinking abilities
Flexibility to occasionally travel to our main office for training, meetings, or team-building activities
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience with GDS, internet booking tools, and travel portals
