Travel Agent and Booking Specialist

Our organization is looking for an outgoing and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Travel Coordinator. As a coordinator, you will be responsible for booking trips for clients in destinations all around the world. Our organization is registered with all major cruise lines, resorts, airlines and more! Therefore, you will have the opportunity to assist clients in planning their dream vacations. This is a 1099 position working under a host agency with over seventy years of experience and success. Key Responsibilities

As a Travel Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Booking travel packages for clients by researching and identifying suitable options based on their needs and preferences
  • Coordinating with vendors such as airlines, hotels and car rental companies to manage reservations
  • Providing excellent customer service by answering questions related to travel arrangements and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Developing strong relationships with clients by understanding their travel preferences and providing them with personalized recommendations

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of popular tourist destinations around the world
  • Excellent communication skills to communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and colleagues
  • Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
  • Knowledge of travel industry trends as well as booking procedures for airlines, cruise lines, hotels etc
  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office applications like Excel, Word etc

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working as a travel agent or coordinator is preferred but not mandatory
  • Passionate about traveling and helping others plan memorable experiences
