Transmission Line Engineer

Title: Transmission Line Engineer - Mid-Senior Level

Salary: $110,000+

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and review detailed designs for transmission lines, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Lead and oversee projects from conception through execution, coordinating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Perform structural analysis, load calculations, and material selection to enhance line performance and safety.
• Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning of transmission lines.
• Ensure all designs and installations meet or exceed applicable codes, standards, and client specifications.
• Integrate the latest technologies and methodologies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance system reliability.
• Prepare comprehensive reports, plans, and documentation for projects and proposals.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in transmission line design, analysis, or related engineering roles.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software, PLS-CADD, and structural analysis tools. Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., NESC, IEEE).
• Certification: Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex engineering problems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly.
