Training Specialist (Underwriting) -- Remote | WFH

What We Offer

  • Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $105,000 per year, plus annual bonus opportunity.
  • Benefits: 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
  • Vacation: Up to 15 days annually for regular associates working 40 hours a week.
  • Holidays: 11 paid holidays in 2024, including 2 floating holidays.
  • Sick Leave: Up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, prorated based on start date.
  • Remote Work: Ability to work remotely with access to high-speed internet in the United States or Puerto Rico.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver comprehensive training and onboarding programs to enhance staff proficiency and customer success.
  • Continuously improve learning methods, provide coaching, and support new tool implementations.
  • Develop, update, and evaluate training materials in collaboration with teams.
  • Maintain an optimal learning environment, monitor progress, and provide feedback.

Required Skills And Experience

  • Experience in developing effective training materials and procedures.
  • Proficiency in adult learning principles and hybrid learning environments.
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry and corporate policies.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems effectively.
  • Remote work capability with high-speed internet access.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with analysis and reporting.
  • 2-3 years of life and/or health insurance experience.
