Our client, a $1B manufacturer with locations throughout the US, is seeking a Training Specialist.

Position.

  • There are already curricula in place for all programs from entry-level, service, engineering, and leadership development which must be tweaked and formalized for each program
  • Some content will be outsourced or provided by the various departments; some will be personally delivered
  • Will be the coordinator for all training programs. Limited travel to other sites on occasion
  • Must have excellent communication and coordination skills and will be dealing with management, executives, and vendors to provide all training programs


Requirements

  • Must have excellent communication and coordination skills
  • BS/BA Degree
  • Must be able to travel 10% of the time
  • 1-2 years of professional training experience required (i.e., content creation, needs analysis, and training delivery)
  • Solid understanding of adult learning principles
  • Solid understanding of current training modalities (virtual, e-learning and AI)
  • Strong business writing skills
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • High energy and engaging; enjoys working and interacting with people
  • Highly collaborative; strong customer-service orientation
  • Very hands-on; comfortable with handling details and administrative duties
  • Strong listening skills
