SUMMARY:

Responsible for independently facilitating the training of Employees in general or designated areas using approved training modules or job skills modules in a timely and effective manner. In area of specialty, works closely with Training Operations Managers and department leadership to ensure applicability of training methods to department goals. Develops job skills and other training materials as assigned. Conducts training audits and provides formal feedback to Instructors and Job Coaches about job skills training on a regular basis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include The Following

  • Independently facilitates New Hire Orientation and other general casino training modules.
  • Trains instructors and Job Coaches for designated areas. Provides professional training preparation support for Instructors and Job Coaches.
  • Coordinates the scheduling of training for all Casino Employees and instructors for assigned areas of responsibility. Coordinates Job Coach assignments with department staff.
  • Maintains accurate materials inventories of training program materials for appropriate job skill areas. Develops materials as assigned.
  • Works with Training Operations Managers and department managers to assess, determine, and recommend department training needs.
  • Implements and monitors on-going training programs, curricula and instruction.
  • Develops and modifies training modules as assigned.
  • Assists with administrative duties, which includes, but is not limited to: record keeping, scheduling, inventory of supplies, internal and external communication, organization and maintenance of files, and other clerical-related requests.
  • Assists with maintenance of audio-visual and training aids library.
  • Maintains the confidentiality of Employee and departmental information.

Qualification Requirements

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. Three to five years experience in designated area of specialty required. Prior training experience strongly preferred. Ability to interact positively with people is required.

Special Qualifications

Must possess effective communication and organizational skills. Must have basic computer skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is preferred.

This position requires a Level 2 Gaming License.

Language Skills

Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from applicants or Employees of the Company.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
