The Training Coordinator creates unique training courses and programs designed to increase employee effectiveness, enable individual growth and support talent development initiatives.
Compensation Data: Non-exempt hourly pay starting at $20/hr based upon experience.
Travel: Occasional
Location:REMOTE - Must live in Central or Mountain Time Zone. M-F, regular business hours
Key Responsibilities
Collaborates with company managers to identify employee training requirements and devises development plans for teams and individuals.
Designs training lessons from company procedures utilizing multiple media options (written, image, video).
Applies appropriate training methods or activities (e.g. simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training, professional development classes).
Reviews and updates existing training programs to capture program modifications.
Grades open ended multi-media (written, voice, video) responses to training courses submitted by employees.
Conducts check-in calls with employees at the end of onboarding or targeted training initiatives to gain feedback and measure effectiveness.
Markets available training to employees and provides necessary information about sessions.
Collaborates on organizational-wide training needs assessments.
Education & Qualifications
What you will need to succeed:
Business degree preferred. A minimum of 1-2 years of experience developing training materials.
Experience with Learning Management Systems.
Competencies
Interpersonal skills to ensure positive interactions with employees and managers.
Creative thinking skills to match content with effective media solutions.
Good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
Good listening and communication skills.
Teamwork skills.
Ability to learn Canva, Loom, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.
