Responsible for coordinating, researching, assessing, designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating employee training and organization development initiatives using a variety of instructional techniques and aligned with our organizational objectives and strategic goals.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
Develops, maintains, implements, and facilitates training and refresher programs.
Prepare training correspondence, manuals, spreadsheets, and materials for training and communication needs
Provides training on policies, procedures, and any known regulations, as needed.
Conducts assessment to determine training gaps and opportunities; develop, prepare, and conduct innovative training
programs to address gaps and reinforce key business drivers.
Measures and monitors program effectiveness and adjusts programs, as necessary.
Prepares and/or assists in the preparation and analysis of assigned reports.
Contribute to, enforce, and assist in annual organizational training calendar based on needs and strategic plan and to
prevent excessive business interruption.
May be required to work in branch as assistance for employee.
Attends and participates in meetings and committees as required.
Stays current on training programs and procedures; Continual education and career development as needed
Recommend resources and/or technology needed to maintain an effective training program
Analyzes learning and development needs to develop new training programs
Assists in maintaining accurate record of all training courses and participation
Performs other related duties as assigned by VP of Human Resources to support the needs of the credit union.
May require travel for training and possible departmental support as needed.
Experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Three years to five years of similar or related experience or training certifications.
Education
A two year college degree or
Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or
Completion of a specialized and extensive in house training or apprenticeship program.
Interpersonal Skills
A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is usually of a personal or sensitive nature.
Work may involve motivating, influencing, or training others.
Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.
Other Skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational skills; proficient Microsoft Office Applications.
Knowledge of BSA/OFAC compliance and be able to assist members with questions concerning BSA. --Complete yearly training.
Must be flexible, self-directed, and well-organized exhibiting critical time management and decision
making skills as necessary to prioritize tasks and meet all required deadlines.
Team-orientation, actively participating to foster a positive work environment with peers.
Ability to give and receive feedback
Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing organizational needs
