CoVantage Credit Union is seeking an experienced Training and Development Manager to lead the development of employees at all 23 of our locations. This individual will oversee a team of three trainers who deliver content to learners on a weekly basis. In addition to ensuring that programs offered are aligned to the credit union mission, vision, and goals, this individual will:

  • Oversee the creation of training curriculum and development programs;
  • Collaborate with functional teams to assess training and development needs and the effectiveness of established programs;
  • Engage with outside partners to supplement training programs and continuing education;
  • Research new training techniques and implement enhancements to existing training programs to meet the credit union's changing needs;
  • Seek opportunities to streamline processes to ensure the team is working efficiently and remains well organized to best achieve goals; and
  • Work to ensure the credit union is a great place to work by developing staff, holding staff accountable, and having regular staff meetings to encourage open communication.

Successful Candidates Will Have

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or business, or equivalent experience;
  • At least 5 years related experience, a minimum of 2 years leading a training team in a service-focused environment;
  • The ability to coach a team to craft trainings to engage various learning types;
  • The flexibility to travel as visits to our training hubs will be required to support the team and credit union training needs; and
  • A creative, self-directed, and proactive approach.

This individual can be based out of our Antigo, Wausau, Neenah or DePere locations; however, frequent travel to Antigo will be required, especially during the candidate's first few months.
