· The main role of this position is to assist the Director of Client Analytics and the Advisors of the practice in servicing clients by trading securities, monitoring investments, preparing reports, running analyses and inputting data
· Assist Advisors in trading and monitoring held away client accounts including 401(k), 403(b), HSAs, etc
· Setup new client accounts in portfolio management software and implement strategy
· Completes client trades accurately and efficiently
· Minimizes trading errors with the goal to be 100% accuracy
· Ability to understand product solution strategies for the Team Members to suitably address clients’ needs primarily as they relate to cash flow, money distribution and investment allocation
· Manage the accounts by reviewing each week for tax harvesting, opportunistic rebalancing, cash investment needs, cash generation, and distribution needs
· Tracks both high and low cash balances for client accounts
· Answers client inquiries and provides readily available information to clients, if requested and as allowable, as it relates to servicing their accounts
· Supports compliance within the practice and fulfills all compliance responsibilities
· Assist other members of the team to help increase operational efficiencies
· Coordinates with Home Office to resolve issues that may arise
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university
· Two years finance, trading or other relevant financial services experience necessary
· Series 65 (or equivalent substitute) attained within 120 days of hire
· Intermediate to advanced knowledge in MS Office is required
· Strong work ethic, team player, and high degree of professionalism
· Strong attention to detail and analytical skills are critical
· Organizational skills, ability to prioritize a diverse workload and multi-tasking, and taking initiative in daily responsibilities
