Our client, a Fintech firm, is currently looking to expand their Risk & Compliance function with a Negative News/Monitoring specialist. This will be a remote contract, with possibility for future extensions as well as permanent conversion.
Due Diligence and Monitoring Vendors:
Perform due diligence on potential and existing vendors, including background checks, financial stability assessments, and security evaluations.
Continuously monitor third-party performance and compliance with contractual obligations.
Third-Party Reviews
Reviewing adverse media, reviewing brand guidance violations, respond to and manage third-party-related incidents.
Develop and implement remediation plans to address identified risks and issues.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare regular reports on third-party risk management activities and present findings to senior management.
Document risk assessment processes and decisions in accordance with organizational standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CRISC, CISA, CTPRP) preferred.
Experience with PerformLine a value add
5+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, audit, or a related field.
