Join our team in Kansas City, Missouri as a Tower Technician III, where you will be responsible for installing and maintaining communication structures, performing troubleshooting tasks, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
Responsibilities
Install radios, antennas, and RF equipment
Troubleshoot alarms and RSSI issues
Perform electrical and mechanical tilts on antennas
Complete paperwork accurately
Conduct safety audits on communication structures
Follow daily instructions and shift reports
Apply job skills and company procedures to tasks
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
3+ years of relevant experience
Valid state-issued driver's license
Certified Tower Climber (Gravitec Systems, Inc. or ComTrain)
Physical Demands
Climbing and descending towers and rooftop structures
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Willingness to travel as needed
Recommended Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Proficient in antenna and equipment installation and testing
Skilled in tower maintenance tasks
Competent climber and rigger
Knowledgeable in safety procedures and equipment operations
Familiarity with UMTS, 4G, and basic electrical concepts
Strong troubleshooting skills
Ability to work collaboratively and mentor others
