They are seeking a Tool and Die Supervisor who will play a pivotal role in the Manufacturing and Tooling Teams, with a strong focus on driving improvements and supporting an environment of excellence.
Tool and Die Supervisor What you could be doing:
As the Tool and Die Supervisor, you will supervise, organize, and control the functional operations of the department as directed by the Tooling Manager.
Responsible for ensuring employee safety, productivity, on-time delivery, and quality of products produced.
You'll cultivate and promote a strong safety culture, following all safety policies, procedures, and regulations. You'll identify and communicate workplace hazards, correcting or seeking assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
Your leadership will be crucial in interpreting schedules, coordinating appropriate manpower, and ensuring an uninterrupted flow of products and/or services. You'll provide clear direction to the production staff, ensuring quality, efficiency, and other goals are consistently met.
Responsible for developing, communicating, and deploying departmental policies and procedures. You'll execute the Operations Annual Operating Plan (AOP) goals and objectives and lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve working conditions and departmental safety performance.
Tool and Die Supervisor What you have:
High school diploma or GED (post-secondary education preferred)
3+ years of supervisory experience
Metal fabrication and weld experience
Experience with the production of tooling (press brake, stampings, weld, and assembly fixtures) required
Experience with all tool and die equipment preferred
Lean manufacturing experience is a plus
Looking for a motivated leader with excellent leadership skills to guide our production team
