Talmi Entertainment seeks an individual ready to contribute to ticket sales and box office management in 25+ markets across North America. As a national entertainment brand, Talmi Entertainment is responsible for promoting and executing over 100 “Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet” performances in North America every Holiday season.

This position offers the candidate a seat at the table with a leading arts organization and one of the largest ballet tours in North America. The office is dynamic and ever changing, depending on the period in our tour cycle. Job requirements will shift according to the tour planning and promotion schedule.

Position Expectations

  • With proper training and the help of current staff, the Ticketing and Group Sales Manager will set up and manage 25+ Box Offices at theaters across the country; from initial ticketing/pricing build to group sales and inventory management
  • Manage and track all aspects of ticket inventory in each city. Work closely with box office team at each performance venue to hold, release, sell, refund and assign all publicly available inventory. Work with 3rd party vendors on managing affiliated sales outlets.
  • The ideal candidate will ask questions when unclear and be ready to learn.
  • During Q3 and into Q4 there will be an opportunity to earn commissions on new group sales of 10+ tickets purchased.
  • He/she/they will develop goals for local commercial partnerships with Nutcracker! Magical Christmas Ballet in assigned cities, research local communities, deliver a short list of prospects, pitch prospects and close 3rd party sales to create promotionally- oriented partnership deals.
  • A candidate who will make the daily commute to Pittsfield, MA for a shift from 9AM-5PM Monday through Friday is preferred. Office is located 2.5hrs from NYC and Boston. 
  • During the tour in November and December, it is expected that the Ticketing and Group Sales Manager will be available in the office to answer calls and questions from group patrons as well as regular ticket buyers. 

Compensation:

- $28.85/hr

- High End Health Insurance

Requirements

- 4-year college degree in related field.

- Candidate must be flexible in an ever-changing environment, highly motivated to learn, detail oriented, and capable of self-direction.

- Candidate must be able to manage multiple lines of business over time and be able to shift priorities daily.

- Candidate MUST demonstrate literacy with Google cloud products and Microsoft productivity software.

-Accuracy in pricing documents and record keeping is a must.
