Hightop Health is pleased to open its first premier Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) located in Atlanta, GA. We are seeking a Senior Therapist and Group Leader to play a key role in maintaining Hightop Health's mission as a premier outpatient mental health platform by delivering high-quality, evidence-based, measurement-driven clinical services to patients while also providing support to Junior Program Staff. Job Title: Senior Therapist Reports to: Program Director of Intensive Outpatient Services Location : Atlanta, GA (Baltimore Block Office) Job Summary: The Senior Therapist will work with an independent license to carry a caseload based on program capacity and provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions. They will facilitate evidenced-based programming with a multidisciplinary treatment team to provide a dynamic, industry-leading clinical program. They will ensure PHP and IOP documentation and administrative needs are in compliance with clinical standards and billing requirements. The Senior Therapist will also assist with auditing the programs for documentation accuracy, clinical quality, and organizational efficiency. Responsibilities: Conduct clinical program assessments to gain information regarding patient condition and risk level, gather outcome data, and measure patient, family and referral source satisfaction Facilitate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy group sessions with appropriate and timely documentation of services in the Electronic Health Record Conduct weekly individual psychotherapy sessions with patients on caseload, appropriately and timely documenting the sessions Facilitate ad hoc sessions with patients' primary support systems, cultivating a supportive and educated environment to which discharging patients may return to further their mental health journeys Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, members of the treatment team, and based on clinical program assessments and outcome measures Engage patient support system through family therapy, education, treatment planning, safety planning, etc. Provide relevant clinical information the interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure seamless, holistic, evidenced-based services are provided to all patients Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clinical services in the electronic health record-documents can include group participation, individual psychotherapy sessions, and other relevant clinical program components Ensure appropriate clinical information is available when needed to the medical billing team to maximize revenue collections and support the utilization review process Manage and clinically supervise Junior Clinician(s) and other program staff Supervise counseling and social work trainees in the program Operate within the core values of respect and care for others Other duties as assigned Education: Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field Current Georgia licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist Certification in specialized therapeutic modalities (e.g., DBT, CBT) preferred Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience providing therapy in an Intensive Outpatient Program and / or Partial Hospitalization Program setting Strong clinical assessment skills, emphasizing program-specific assessment, risk assessment, and outcome measures Skilled in delivering evidence-based therapy and interventions Expert clinical engagement skill with patients and supports Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and confidentiality Bilingual proficiency (if applicable) Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 3 - 5 years Bonus/Commission: No
