Position Summary

The Community Development Lending (CDL) intern will support Capital Impact Partner's New Market Tax Credit Program that invests in healthcare, education, and multiservice facilities and the CDL's broader place based strategies in our core markets. As part of the Community Development Lending (CDL) team, the intern will support the advancement of Capital Impact Partner's lending activities and placed based strategy work across the county. This role is remote.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Work on financial models to support financing transactions
  • Prepare marketing materials for use on website and in client meetings
  • Learn how to identify Momentus product solutions to benefit clients' long-term planning
  • Collaborate with deal teams regarding business development strategy, including the identification of potential prospects
  • Develop an understanding of the full breadth of Momentus products and service offerings
  • Conduct client and prospect research to support business development efforts
  • Help to conduct outreach to identify NMTC transactions and maintain NMTC application pipeline
  • Assist in compiling and summarizing NMTC community benefits information and transactional data
  • Creating a contact list of key NMTC partners and referral sources across the country
  • Prepare NMTC Advisory Board tasks, including schedule of meetings and site visits
  • Help to organize, manage, and maintain CDL files
  • Support CDL underwriting through assisting with due diligence review
  • Assist with stakeholder interviews for our placed based strategies


Requirements

  • Professional Skills, Education and Experience
  • Familiarity with government funding for community development is a plus
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (e.g., Google Docs, Sheets)


Benefits


The salary range for this position is $18-$20, depending on education.


This role is Remote
