Test Manager

Position is Hybrid.

Clinet requires the services of 1 QA/Test Manager 2, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of QA/Test Manager 2, Quality Assurance (QA) and Testing and the specifications outlined in this document for the Clinet

All work products resulting from the project shall be considered "works made for hire" and are the property of the Clinet and may include pre-selection requirements that potential Vendors (and their Candidates) submit to and satisfy criminal background checks as authorized by Texas law. Clinet will pay no fees for interviews or discussions, which occur during the process of selecting a Candidate(s).

Level Description

4-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Job Description

The role of the software test manager is to lead the testing team. Test Manager plays a central role in the Team. The Test Manager takes full responsibility for the project's success. The role involves quality & test advocacy, resource planning & management, and resolution of issues that impede the testing effort.

Additional Job Details And Special Considerations

Test and validate the HHS applications on Salesforce platform post remediation, platform stabilization, performance tweaking and trigger updates. This position also performs systematical testing and analyzing various aspects of product development and service delivery to detect potential flaws and ensure alignment with industry and internal standards.

Years Required/Preferred Experience 5 Required Skilled with Database query languages (SQL PUSQL). 5 Required Skilled in developing Requirements Traceability Matrices. 5 Required Skilled in developing and executing Test Scripts. 5 Required Skilled in developing Test Plans and coordinating user Acceptance Testing. 5 Required Experience with general IT SDLC processes. 4 Required Experience using JIRA for managing project/sprint tasks 4 Required Working in an Agile SDLC environment. 4 Required Strong verbal and written skills in communicating with peers and different levels of users. 2 Preferred Experience working on projects utilizing agile project management methodologies. 2 Preferred Experience with Automation Testing. 2 Preferred Experience with Health and Human services.
