Test Lead

Qualitest is looking for a Test Lead in United States to join our rapidly expanding teams! This is Remote position.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the testing team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective creation and execution of test plans.
• This includes management of holidays, time booking, one to one meetings, and performance management.
• Develop Test Strategies: Create comprehensive test strategies that integrate manual testing processes tailored to project needs.
• Tool Selection: Identify and implement appropriate tools and technologies to enhance testing capabilities and outcomes.
• Test Case Development: Write, review, and maintain test cases to ensure thorough coverage and adherence to quality standards. This includes assisting the team to do so as well.
• Quality Assurance: Oversee all aspects of testing to ensure software functionality, performance, and security meet or exceed the established standards.
• Bug Tracking: Manage defect tracking and resolution processes, ensuring all identified issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• This should include outside vendor/third parties as well.
• Performance Monitoring: Analyze test results and generate detailed reports to monitor the effectiveness of testing strategies and identify areas for improvement.
• Mentoring and Training: Mentor junior testers in manual/QA practices and techniques, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
• Capable of working on/tracking multiple projects simultaneously.
• Example, they may need to work on 2-3 projects as lead/tester, while managing another 1-2 projects.
• Time management and creation of Level of Efforts (LOE) are important. Projects and tasks given will often not have priority or deadlines, so the role will need to be capable of analyzing the task or gathering the needed information to determine priority or LOE.
